I have transferred a route from Basecamp to the card in my etrex30, but on the device when I call up "Where to"/"Routes" the route I just copied to card doesn't show. I'm new to all this- should I have copied it to the device and it decides where to physically put it, or what? Thanks for any help.
Thanks for the quick reply- I just sent it to the SD card that showed on Basecamp, presumably what shows as drive (GARMINDISK g:) on Windows explorer, compared to Garmin etrex30 (I:). So I have to create the Garmin\GPX folder on the card first?

Well you shouldn't have to as Basecamp would normally place it in the correct folder. But that's the first thing to check, that it is actually in the correct folder.
If it is in the correct folder, then we'd need to look deeper.
All sorted now- thanks. Problem seemed to be that the SD card showing in BC as a possible target for transferring the route, was actually another SD card in my machine. The folders had been created there: when I transferred them to the right card all was OK.
