Associating BirdsEye with a device

Got my eTrex 20.
Got a BirdsEye Satellite imagery subscription.
I'm on myMaps screen:

Clicking Activate Now and getting this

:c what a pity

So should I continue using googlemaps on lenovo tablet as a trekking thingie and just thrash eTrex or mighty admin will resolve the glitch? However i'm waiting for this already for two weeks with last week spent in the forests with eTrex 20 being dead weight in my backpack.

Why is that a glitch? Satellite imagery can only be associated with one device.

I'm not sure though why you're doing it this way. As far as I can recall I did my downloads (a while ago now) via Basecamp.

Because there is no option to associate it wit my device. The subscription just remains utterly unassociated! :)

Before that you had to associate your device with BirdsEye subscription for Basecamp being able to see it active for current device or you just getting demo-something.

What happens then on your second screen when you click on 'Register a device'

It asks for a serial number. I'm entering it but it says that device is already registered. And surely it is, as it is mentioned on "myMaps.png" screenshot in the first post :) The subscription also isn't associated with any other device because I have only this one. Also there wouldn't be any button if the subscription was already associated.

I think you'll need to contact Product Support, seems like your records have corrupted somehow. Product Support should be able to correct it.

Did it once some two weeks ago and once few days ago and once again today :D still waiting. Going into mountains in few days and usefulness of my etrex is doubtful again :(

Really... looks like garmin's product support is rubbish. Have to trash useless etrex20 :(

Did you actually call them? Or are you relying on e mail?

If so try calling them.

Sussamb is correct. In my case recently, Garmin, in migrating info / records from one server / program to another lost the fact that my 76 CSx was authorized for CNNA . (had previously been authorized for several years) .

One phone call and "they" fixed it while I was on the phone with them. Much quicker than the time you have already spent.............
