Problems importing waypoints from gpx file

Hi all,

I have a set of waypoints which are listed in a csv file. I've converted this to a gpx file and then tried to import it into Basecamp however, the points never appear. I've tried many different ways of structuring the csv before it's converted but still no luck. Currently my points are in the format of three separate columns in excel, transect (i.e. T12), N (i.e. N 5 05.120), E (i.e. E 117 42.457). Can anyone give any advice?

did you try GPSBabel to convert the csv File?

Without knowing the application that did the csv to gpx conversion or seeing the gpx file, it is difficult to provide much help other than try a different converter and make sure the data in the csv file is in the proper format (e.g. is the transect necessary or is it the waypoint name, should coordinates be N/S E/W Deg Min or +/- decimal degrees).
