Monterra not recognized in BaseCamp?

We just purchased a Monterra, and have not been able to connect it to BaseCamp. We are using Windows 8.1 with BaseCamp 2.0.4. Is anyone else having this problem or know what can be done to fix it? BaseCamp just doesn't seem to recognize the device, even though it connects fine to the computer. Is there a way to manually add the device to BaseCamp when auto-connect fails? Thanks in advance!
