Nuvi stuck in computer mode

How do you turn off a Nuvi 2595 if you unplug it from the PC and it remains in the same mode?

Disconnecting the USB cable doers nothing.

Pressing the power button does nothing.

Does the battery have to be removed like a cell phone?

Have you tried holding it down for 10secs or so?
