Editing tracks in Basecamp does not work as well as the old Mapsource. On occasion, multiple tracks are down loaded for a single hike. I like to join the tracks before saving. Is Garmin going to fix this? Right now, I use the old Mapsource software to edit the tracks and then import them into Basecamp.
I have similar problem also, I use base camp on a MAC and cannot find the track editing tools (erase, join, divide). On the PC version their under tools or you can add toolbar but these are missing from the mac version, am I missing it? help.

On a Mac:
To join tracks: select the tracks you want to join in the bottom left pane. Right click. Select join from the context menu. To split tracks: select the track. Move your cursor to the place you want the split to occur. Right click. Select split track from the context menu.
