Hi, please be gentle with me, I know very little about Basecamp.
I took a Backup of my database to load onto another computer. I placed the file into an empty folder named 'Backup', put it on a new empty stick and attempted a 'Restore' on another machine so that we are both looking at the same document. I run Windows 7, the other machine is on Windows 8. Everything when as usual until I selected the Backup file and clicked 'open'... The progress bar showed installation and closed Basecamp as normal but when it reopens I get a message saying 'Cannot open the following areas' and the box shows 'List data file'. There is an option to 'fix' or 'cancel' both of which produce nothing. I'm horrified and worried we cannot see the same document, any help would be most welcome. Jingers.
