I have a nuvi 2595. I did not want to go the way basecamp automatically plotted so, I selected points along the route me the way I wanted to go. I transferred the route to the device, but it tries to take me off exits I did not want to use. Does the device recalculate the route as you are drive to use the shortest or fastest way?
When I view the routes directions in basecamp these points I selected indicate that I will not be alerted, but the device alerts me that I am arriving at my destination.
Any info would be helpful
