Status Update:

1 - [HIKING: NOT FIXED] Desktop Basecamp(W7: 4.2.5)/Tactix: when selecting "Symbol" under "Choose how to display this waypoint on the map" only works on Desktop Basecamp but does not work on Tactix map where is most needed, as given small screen, only want to see icons w/ no long names, which also interferes when using "Routes" having Waypoints w/ long names

Suggested Fix: replicate "Symbol Display-only" behavior from Basecamp to Tactix for all Waypoints, especially long waypoint names used in ROUTES which clutter small watch screen or at least provide option on Tactix Waypoints to display icons only w/ no names

2 - [HIKING: NOT FIXED] Desktop Basecamp(W7: 4.2.5)/Tactix: on Tactix "Drinking Water" icon displays as a generic small circle instead of a water faucet as on Basecamp; this is easily the most critical icon for a hiking watch

Suggested Fix: Display same or equivalent non-generic "Drinking Water" on Tactix

3 - [HIKING: NOT FIXED] Tactix: when selecting "Tracks" > "Display" > "Show" instead of default "Hide" it causes Tracks that are several miles away to display instead of only displaying nearby tracks; this is a problem when far away "Tracks-Display-Show" generate and slow down map display w/ "Importing Map Tracks" - not a problem if track is nearby and needs to be viewed, but a problem when a single "Tracks-Display-Show" keeps importing map tracks that are nowhere near current position.

Suggested Fix: only import tracks that are within a mile of current position, or provide a global setting to "HIDE ALL Tracks" that were set to "Show" which is way easier than having to check each individual Track to see which one was set to "Show"

4 - [HIKING: NOT FIXED] Tactix>Desktop Basecamp(W7: 4.2.5)>GC website: when merging trail runs w/ fitness data tracks recorded on Tactix, which I want to upload to Garmin Connect, keep getting "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again."

5 - [SPORTS: NOT FIXED] Tactix>GC website: "Steps" displayed from Garmin footpod on Tactix are not getting transferred to GC website which shows a blank line under "Steps" column in "Activities" section

6 - [SPORTS: BEING FIXED] GC website > GCM 2.01 Android app: Workouts pace ranges are way off on GCM 2.01 app

7 - [SPORTS: BEING FIXED] Tactix/GC website: Workouts are slightly off on splits, like instead of 30 sec, it'll show 33 sec, instead of 1:00, shows 1:01, etc., not on all but it does it enough to be annoying

8 - [SPORTS: BEING FIXED] Tactix: Wrong Labels displayed: at a minimum, I need to differentiate 3 different workout intervals, namely SLOW, STEADY & FAST; so on GC workouts I was relying on “RECOVERY” to mean Slow, “OTHER” to mean Steady and “INTERVAL” to mean Fast; unfortunately on fenix1 those 3 step types ALL show up as RUN which ruins all my Workouts! Can’t tell when to go slow, steady or fast!

Suggested Fix: The most elegant solution would be for them to simply rename those 3 step types in GC as Slow, Steady, and Fast, but at the very least those 3 steps should be displayed on fenix1 just as they do in GC: Recovery, Other & Interval instead of displaying “RUN” for all 3 step types.

9 - [SPORTS: BEING FIXED] Tactix: Ambiguity/Inconsistency, all fenix1 activities display “Locating Satellites” msg to let you know when to start running, but when selecting Workouts, this step is skipped and starts session immediately whether or not it has a satellite fix!

10 - [SPORTS: BEING FIXED] Tactix: Std beep alerts are generally loud enough to be heard on fenix1, except when Workouts is running where a different set of beep sounds that are nowhere near as loud as the std beep alerts, consequently, they can’t be heard!

11 - [SPORTS: NOT FIXED] Tactix: Limited FIT Activities available in > Setup > Fitness > FIT Activity menu. Currently we can only select from: Running, Cycling, Skiing and Other.

Suggested Fix: Add key Garmin Connect FIT activity types, including Hiking, Swimming, Walking, Geocaching, etc.
