Loading custom waypoints from Basecamp to DEZL 760

I'm having trouble loading customized waypoints created in Basecamp to my DEZL 760. I'd like to enter attributes like comments, notes, elevation, custom symbols, etc. When I transfer the waypoints to the DEZL, none of the custom attributes that I created in Basecamp show up on my DEZL. Just the point name seems to be stored on the DEZL. When I upload the saved points from my DEZL into Basecamp, none of these custom attributes show up in Basecamp, either. What am I doing wrong, or do the DEZL series units not allow for categories or attributes like the ones mention above to be stored?
