Routes

I must say the new Basecamp is taking me a long time to get used to the changes from Mapsource. Still I suppose that's progress for you. I arrange routes for a car club and a couple of things seem to be bugging me. Firstly, all my previous routes seem to have been deleted (Co-incidentally I had just upgraded to the latest version) and apart from one I created late last year there is nothing showing in the left hand route list.

Secondly, probably the easiest one. I usually try to print out the route details for the other drivers but I can't see how to change to this - there is a toggle switch on the menu bar to toggle between map and data but there doesn't seem to be any icon that lists the route in plain text. Neither does this option appear in the Print Preview or is it so obvious I have missed it completely?:(

To print off a route open the route properties (right click, select open, then select the route properties tab). Right click and 'select all', then right click again and select copy. Paste into something like word. That should give you what you need.

If you doulble-click the route and select the "Route Directions" you could select the "Print" button in the lower-right corner of this window.
First page is a map, followed by the directions.
If you click on preview, you can view all the pages (next page / previous page).

Only problem with that is you will probably end up with a 'printing is restricted with the current map' message.
