How to copy route properties?

Hi all,
In the Route Properties window with the show more data on, I can right click and select all and then right click and select copy, however all it copies is the waypoint themselves and not the associated Route data such as mileage or route times!
How can I copy all the route properties and paste into a word document?

I don't believe you can. Best you could do AFAIK is use the Windows snipping tool and paste that into word.

I'm pretty sure you can't do it in MapSource either.

My bet is that this is deliberate to make it harder to "publish" directions.

Actually, it's quite easy to publish Directions. Just open the route properties window and select the Route Directions tab. Then do a select all in the window and copy the Directions. I then past them into a text editor and make sure that each of the columns are separated by a comma and you'll have to remove the comma between Hours and Minutes of travel time. Then I save the text file as a CSV file and open it in Excel. Works for me.

You will have to add the column headings as I did below and add some commas where you need blank fields. Also, when the Time exceeds 60sec you will need to remove the comma generated in the copy action between Hours and Minutes.

Hmm, works in MapSource 6.16.3 too. Guess either my memory is failing or it was changed at some point.

What day is it again? :D

Yep, it was added in MapSource 6.1

Updated the route dialog to copy a text version of the via-points onto the clipboard. Also provided the capability to copy the text of driving directions to the clipboard from the driving directions.
