http://www8.garmin.com/support/download_details.jsp?id=4435, says "BaseCamp will recognize all MapSource products except BlueChart." Both MapSource and BaseCamp are successfully installed on my Windows computer. However, BaseCamp does NOT recognize my Garmin MapSource - United States Topo (comparable to 1:100K USGS paper maps). I purchased version 3.02, though I've updated the s/w to version 6.16.3. I have other MapSource maps that ARE recognized by the BaseCamp s/w. Can you help me?
BaseCamp will not work with maps that require you to insert maps into a CD/DVD drive. By default that's the way US Topo 3.02 installs. Is that the way you have them working in MapSource?
If so you must reinstall US Topo 3.02 to your PC's HD.
