I've recently purchased the current version of City Navigator North America. BaseCamp is of course included. As a new user - and as a software developer - I think one of the things your help content needs is a dictionary - or a glossary. I have to hope that your software products are object oriented. If so, the developers must have in depth understanding of the objects created and manipulated in you product. I think that adding a glossary to your help content would really aid users. What is a waypoint? What exactly is a track? What's the difference between a track and a route? What is a hub? How are all these objects related?
I was trying to use the trip planner. I entered the start and destination and a route was created. That was good but I guess I'm spoiled by what I can do on Google Maps or Mapquest. I want to be able to modify the route by simply using click and drag actions.
Maybe I'm approaching this from the wrong direction. Can I create something on Google or Mapquest and import it into BaseCamp?
Thanks.
