Garmin BirdsEye Imagery - Will only download High Res?

I recently purchased a Birdseye Subscription and started downloading images. All was working fine until yesterday. As I am downloading a lot of data I was doing this in "Standard Mode" but for some reason this is no longer working.

I go through the verification steps and get to the screen that allows me to choose the image quality, then select standard but nothing happens to the map data size. If I choose a very small area with standard selected it starts downloading at "Highest" res. It seems as if bascamp only recognizes this option now.

Any ideas?

Running Basecamp 4.2.5 with Windows 8.1 & a garmin etrex 30

Should also add that I was playing around with the options and when I choose

"Birdseye satellite imagery subscription (depreciated)"

the dropdown box starts working again changing the data size. This subscription does not work of course so I put it back to

"Birdseye satellite imagery subscription V2"

and the issue of the data size not changing happens again

I can not download any BirdsEye imagery - I always get an error code reporting a problem communicating with the Garmin servers.

There are posts over at geocaching.com suggesting that Garmin have updated their imagery, as indicated by the V2 you mention and as spotted across at geocaching.com. It seems the imagery is now far better quality (I don't use it myself) and therefore I guess possible that only 'high res' is available now :confused:
