No gmapsupp.img in Basecamp software

Hi,
After 1/2 year I want to use basecamp again to plan a route.
When I connect my Garmin Edge 800 to my PC and start Basecamp I only see the Worldmap and not the city navigator map wich was included when I bought the Garmin edge 800
Maps wich I have on my Garmin are:

* INTL Standard Basecamp, NR
* CN Europe NT 2014.30

I used to see both maps in Basecamp but now I don't see the City Navigator map anymore so I can't make any routes...
I renamed the file 'gmapsupp.img' in another name already, deleted it and put it back on SD card but nothing will work.
I installed basecamp on anoter computer and conencted my Garmin but still no card.
Can anybody tell me what can be the problem that I don't see the Card???

This would have been better in the basecamp forum. But I think basecamp uses the maps off the attached device unless you have specifically installed maps to basecamp. Was your device attached and recognized?

My device is attached but the City navigator map is not recognized within Basecamp!?! I quiet sure that it has worked before.
So now I can't make or edit routes anymore....
Hope someone can help.

It should be visible. Run JaVaWa device manager and see what it says. You can use it to make a map visible in Basecamp if for some reason it isn't.

Thanks for the solution, I switched it on in Javawa device manager and it is visible again in Basecamp!!
Now I have 2 card, TOPO fot Mountainbiking en City Navigator for cycling on the road.
Can I leave them both activated in my Garmin or must I switch one of them off?

Never activate more than one routable map at the same time (when they overlap). With more than one map the routing can/will be erratical; also drawing two maps at the same time slows down the device.
It is advisable to keep the basemap always on.
