After upgrade to this latest version I can no longer edit waypoints by double clicking them in library. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have already tried new download and install, no go. Using Win 7 PRO; ver 6.1 (Build 7601;Service Pack 1)
Are the waypoints stored in "My Collection" (or a subfolder or list of that) or are they on a GPS device? Usually its not possible to use BaseCamp to edit waypoints on a Garmin device. If you do want to edit waypoints on the device, you would have to copy them into My Collection, then edit them, then copy back onto the device.

Not true. I can edit any waypoint on a connected device from within BaseCamp by clicking on it and editing the desired field.
It probably depends on what device you are using. I've used a few different Garmin devices with BaseCamp, they don't allow editing waypoints. Maybe some of the newer models are different.
Win7 x64 BaseCamp 4.2.5 Clicking on waypoints in BaseCamp still opens the properties window for all waypoints. However the waypoints that are stored on my Zumo 550 are not editable.
To add clarification to my posting. I am talking about using BaseCamp on my laptop, ie in a planning mode, so the ultimate navigation device is irrelevant. I was always able to doubleclick any waypoint in the library section of the screen (left side) and properties box would appear allowing review or editing. This install no longer responds to doubleclick feature.

My apologies to all. Problem resolved. The pop-up screen was there but not visible as off window.
