BaseCamp can't read Oregon 600 mdv maps

Hi,
I just got a new Oregon 600 with Trek maps v3 pro included as a microsd card. On the device it works fine, but I can't look at them with Basecamp. The software recognize well the device and the sd card, but loads only the generic world map. I also tried to plug the card directly to the pc but the software doesn't see anything. In some posts it's written it's possible to copy the sd content to an other usb device, so I'd tried another option, but I don't know how to the to basecamp to look to a folder for the maps.

How to enable maps on your GPSr in BaseCamp.

I follow the instructions, but in the last screen, when I can change the BC visibility flag, a warning says that the map is not unlocked for the linked device and it may not be used.
I'am a GPSr newbie so what does it mean? what I can do?

That means the map maker has limited that map for use on the GPSr only.

I don't think so because on the map maker website (garmin trekmap) is clearly written that in basecamp is possible with microsd inserted in GPSr.

No, it just means that JDM cannot determine whether the map is unlocked for the device or not; it's a warning, not an error.

Background: a map can be unlocked for a certain device, or for a certain SD card. In the first case JDM can check whether the unlock code matches the unit ID of the device. JDM can't do that for the SD card, because there is no way to get the unique ID of the SD card that is inserted in the device or in a card reader (the routine to get the ID will return the ID of the USB controller instead of the SD card)

Bottom line: if the map works in the device, you can ignore that warning.

But I can't see maps on basecamp anyway...
Basecamp reads the sd content (red and green status bars) but then clicking on the sd icon there isn't anything in the list. In the maps handling window there is only global map.

Did you set the BC visibility flag in JDM? The first time BaseCamp sees a map, it takes some time to index it (shown by the progress bar). Until it is finished, you can't use the map.

Yes, I did. I did also check it closing and reopening JDM. But when I start BC it reads the device and its sd card as you can see two bars each. One, green, with a folder icon and an other, with a red bar, near a map icon. When all the four bars disappear I think BC is ready, but no maps. If a screen is necessary I'll post it.
