How do I do a Shaping Point in a route using BaseCamp? Is there a similar feature in BaseCamp like there is in MapSource?
In MapSource, I click on the Selection Tool icon on the top Menu, use the mouse pointer to click on the coloured route, two black lines then appear between each of the waypoints, then I maneuver the mouse pointer to over a place on the map where I want the route to pass thru, for example, an intersection that shows (I-84E and Ramp), then click there, the route recalculates with this new included Shaping Point. I call it a Shaping Point because the GPS will not alert when arriving.
Is there a way to do this same thing in BaseCamp?
