Bought maps in basecamp

Hi,

I´m a new garmin user and i own a gpsmap 62st. I also bought the "TOPO pro benelux" map and downloaded it directly to my device.
Is it only possible to see this map in basecamp when i plug in my device or can i also upload this map to basecamp itself?

Sorry to hijack this thread, I was unsure where to post my question and this seems thread is very close to what I'm tring to figure out. I want to purchase City Navigator NA for the lower 49. If I do the download, will I be able to access CN when my device is connected to the computer, and be able to plan routes, and send back to the device. If it does work like this then can I save it to the SD card in my device? thanks in advance for you help. My device is the gpsmap 62stc.

With the map installed on your GPS then yes, when it's connected Basecamp can use it. Additionally Basecamp is capable of sending routes to either the internal memory or the installed card on your GPS. You may though want to check this FAQ prior to any purchase:
