I have a Garmin 600T and have loaded a number of maps into it as well many routes and waypoints. I am trying to clear out some data to get back some memory. I can't figure out how to get data off of the Garmin. I previously thought I could load the Garmin 600 into Base Camp for archiving and then clear out the hand held 600. I suspect that I am missing something or have it all wrong. HOW TO I CLEAR OUT MEMORY?
You should be able to delete data off your GPS when it shows it Basecamp.
To delete maps use Explorer, they'll be in the Garmin folder. Delete them like any other file. You may want to back them up first just in case you want them later.
