Hi all,
I updated the maps and for some reason the insert tool stopped working? No more rubberband to add waypoints to a route on the map. Any help would be appreciated.

If they're previously created routes do a recalculation. Does the insert tool now work?
No. I created the route and it first was a straight line from start to finish. then recalculated and it followed the roads. But I can't add intermediate waypoints using the insert tool icon. I have the maps set on the latest version, ie not global. Like I said this happened before when I first stated using basecamp and someone told me I was on Global map and I think that fixed the problem but this time I made sure I was on a map version. Again, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I take it you do have the route selected? The insert tool will only work if it is. If it's not that then all I can suggest would be an uninstall/reinstall of Basecamp.

Garmin software guy who was a GREAT help, he actually had to uninstall basecamp from the registry! After a uninstall, restart, etc. everything he and I could think of doing to remove it, he eventually had to go to the registry to remove all of it! There maybe somekind of unknown something that would not allow me to uninstall basecamp, but once completely uninstalled the insert tool works like it is supposed to AND the trip planner actually recognizes mulri-day trips instead of packing all waypoints into 1 day!
