I downloaded a route that had several segments from my Garmin 496.
I want to "break apart" the big trip into several segments.
Is there any way to do that ?

Duplicate your route (just to be safe): right click and select "duplicate" (or something like it as I have a Dutch version, its the one below "copy")
Make the duplicate active (click on it)
Click on this toolbar on the most right button Or select from the top bar: tools, devide (the one with the "X" behind it).
Go to the point you want to split your route or track.
You'll notice the first part of your track keeps it's color, the part from where you pointing at changes color.
If this is the correct point than click and your route or track is split.
