Screw birdseye, use Trimble Mytopos instead

For all of you sick of dealing with the limitations, slow downloads, and lack of responsiveness from Garmin, I've found an alternative:

Use the mytopos app from trimble. You get a 14 day trial, then it's only $2.95/month for unlimited satellite downloads, and imagery downloads (literally) 100 times faster than birdseye.

Does Trimble generate .jnx files (satellite imagery) that scales properly on the GPS units?
Also: How does the imagery compare both in terms of resolution, and age?
