HELP!! so how do I turn way points in a route to shaping points???

Guys, how the heck do I turn way points in a route to shaping points on my nuvi 2555lm. I did set them to "do not alert" but that didn't do much. My route is still divided into sections when running in Garmin. What do I do???

Ya well I have had several fights with MapSource and BaseCamp over trying to get my route where I want it. I do not have a 2555 so this might not work for you.
I found that trying all the routing options would finally get very close to what I wanted.
First you need to see what kind of routing options the 2555 has that match what BaseCamp has.
In BaseCamp click > Edit > Options > Activity Profile > Routing Tab > Set your choices on this tab then just above use the pull down menu to pick the vehicle type.
Changing Speed or Distance and vehicle types will change the route and maybe get close to what you want.
Then you will have to try it out on the 2555 to see what it does.
Very tedious but effective.
