Routes show in Basecamp, but not on GPS unit

I have created some routes in Google Maps, fed them into Basecamp, then told Basecamp to send them to my GPSMap 62s. They show up as routes in Basecamp, with the names I gave them, but all I can see on the unit via Windows Explorer is some track files in the GPX directory called Route.gpx, Route0.gpx through to Route5.gpx. How do I select these routes to follow on my GPS unit? When I look at Routes or Tracks on the unit, my routes are not there.

I must be missing something obvious, because this seems like it should be so simple. Any help would be much appreciated.

    The Route.gpx are route files not tracks. The file names are not related to the names of the routes.

    On the 62 units, only an active route will be visible on the Map page. To see the route names stored on your device bring up the Route Planner or Find > Routes.

    To see a route on the Map via the Route Planner, select a route and press Enter > View Map. To see a route on the map via Find > Routes, select a route and press Enter – press Quit to exit without initializing navigation.

    If the active profile is set for Direct Routing, you will see a Direct route instead of a calculated route.

    Sometimes the 62 series will behave poorly after a firmware update. It may be necessary to delete the files on the unit and reload them (make sure you download anything you might want that is not already in BaseCamp). You can delete them thru BaseCamp and reload in the same session.

    Did you try removing all of the routes on your unit and then reloading them? (At times, some file on the device gets corrupted and this will repair it.)

    Route0.gps thru Route5.gpx are routes that have been uploaded by BaseCamp. To see the name you gave the routes will require opening them with a text editor like Notepad or Wordpad (Word will work also). You will be looking for:
    <rte>
    <name>

    Are any of these routes the routes you uploaded, but are not seeing in Route Planner?

    On my Nuvi, I have to go to the My Data section and select Import Routes before they will show up in the Routes menu on the device.

    Where is the My Data section you refer to - I can't seem to find it on my new Nuvi
