When using the waypoint tool and the cursor is approaching a road an information bubble will pop up giving you a choice such as I-40 E and I-40 W. In Mapsource you can right click and then choose which choice to put the waypoint on. Can you do this in Basecamp? If so how?
Yes, except that I want to place waypoints with the waypoint tool. And my version does not work in that way with the route tool, may be a configuration change is needed.
In the video you can see that when I select a POI in the pop-up, a second pop-up appears. In this pop-up you can setect what you want tp do with it. From left to right: make a waypoint, start a new route, add the point to the current route, print (information about the point?) I've just tested it, it makes no difference if you have selecter the "hand" tool, the "arrow" tool, the "waypoint" tool or the "route" tool. When you get the pop-up, select the one you want, than select what to do with it.
