BaseCamp update to 4.2.3 MSI : instal error

Hi

I actuallly running Basecamp 4.1.2 on my Toshiba Laptop Windows7 64 bits, when I tried to install the update 4.2.3 during the installation I receive the messag MSI: Install error. I tried to download the complete software instead of running the update but the same issue.

My Acer laptop running Windows 7 but the 32bits version is okay, I have been able to update to Basecamp version 4.2.3

Any idea ???

Somewhere in these forums is a thread about update issues with Toshiba laptops. I can remember all the way back into the 90's that Toshiba laptops have always had strange compatibility issues no other brands experienced, but I have no idea why. Apparently, it is genetic, and has been passed down through each new generation of Toshiba products..

I have issues with my Toshiba laptop also ... so I think you're very correct :)
