Search by State Highway numbers

Is there a way to search a State Route Number in BC.? The only way I can find, which is time consuming is Search by Grid movement for center of view and hopefully Yelp will find a POI near or on the route. For example, find AL State Highway 107.

Thanks in advance!

The search functions are always being tweaked and corrected. I would recommend typing out the whole state. Also I would try things like Rte. 107 and other such strings. I will consult with my team mates and find out what the plans are on such a thing like this. Thank you for your feedback.

Thanks for reply... I have used many string options...Typing out the whole state yields many street with the State name in them... Rte 107 yields any address with 107 in the address. Hopefully this will be addressed as you mentioned in a updated search function.

Actually, if you know you're route, something you can try it to create a trip using the Trip Planner feature. Then there is a "search along route" feature that may give you what you need. The search is conducted near the marker that is movable using the slider. Does this get you what you want? If not, give me more of a description of what you are trying to do and I will try to help you further.

For example...being a touring motorcyclists (or any other user) if you read that route 107 in Alabama is a nice road...or 128 in Utah or whatever... You want to explore that road.. your search to find that suggested road and create your route to include that road... likewise if a caution is posted to avoid hwy 151 in North Carolina... new gravel surface... where is that road. Actually I would like the location of the road, so I can make my route near that road.

Just to be honest... I don't care for the New Trip Planner... I equate the New Trip Planner to something AAA would do for a RV traveler... but realize not everyone has the same interest... I can live with that... Search a Hwy number should be an item of interest to many regardless of style of travel.

    Thanks for the reply...

This better defines what we are looking for. Let me talk to those in the know and find out if we should open a case on this as finding a highway as a POI. I am grateful for your feedback. Thank you.

Garmin needs to bring "Routes" back, instead of Trip Planner!!! That would solve many problems.
