Can't see tracks after upgrading basecamp to 4.2.3

I have a Garmin edge 800 and my tracks are saved to a separate memory card. Before I upgraded, I could see all my tracks and transfer them to basecamp. After I upgraded today to version 4.2.3, I could only see one track and it looks like it was the first one I had saved from over a year ago. I can see the tracks on my memory card so I know they are not gone but basecamp does not see them to allow me to transfer them.
Are your tracks in fit files? Do you know that by any chance? Are they on an SD card? We have some fixes in that are currently in testing regarding not being able to see some tracks on SD cards.

Everything that I have been working with so far have all been .gpx or .gdb files. Honestly I had never heard of .fit files until today. Must be something new & improved? :D
I still would like to know if you are having issues with the data on an SD card. That would help me.
As a matter of fact, I am. I have 73 .gpx files loaded on the SD card that's installed into the Nuvi 2460. When viewing in BC, only 4 of them are visable, and they are routes.
Can someone give me exact steps as to how this issue occurs?
I installed the update to BaseCamp 4.2.3 on my PC and immediately BaseCamp stopped seeing the North America map that came installed on my Edge 800. BaseCamp still recognizes the Europe map that I installed myself on a removable card. I uninstalled BaseCamp from my PC and reinstalled it, but this doesn't fix the problem. Without the North America maps, BaseCamp is useless for planning routes.
