Are there any plans to add curvy roads as a route preference in Basecamp similar to the Zumo 390 option?

    Thanks,
    Ray

    This is in the works!

This got me to thinking.. In my 465t and my new RV 760 one of the Avoidances is Highways. In my old 2610 there was two different choices. Highway and Interstate. My Wife and I travel fulltime in a 5th wheel RV. We prefer to travel on highways than on Interstates. Many of the highways are smoother and almost as fast. Some 4 lane and some 2 lane. They do go through many towns but that is the fun of traveling for us. Any chance in making this available?

    Thanks

It is? Cool. At least some of you must ride motorcycles or drive sports cars.....
  • Thanks for the update but I'm begging you...please get rid of the pop up balloon that obscures the map. Traveling with a small screen laptop is almost impossible with that thing popping up everywhere. Please make this an option.
  • Map layers presentation has changed. Object from layer 0 like buildings are moved up to smaller scale while POI need bigger zoom to appear. I used to use details "higher" where buildings were presented up to zoom 500m and POI up to 300m. Now I have buildings up to 1k, which clutters map or I can switch details to "high" and get buildings up to 500m but POI only up to 100m scale.

Are there any plans to add to the option section for how time & date is presented in BaseCamp?
In my country we prefer day.month.year and 24-hour clock. If I open up a GPX file (in BaseCamp) the format of the time column is month/day/year and AM/PM clock, even though the format in the actual file is much closer to how I like it (including 24hour clock)
Also the automatic generated name of the list (under library-My collection) when I import data from my device is in the same "wrong" format.

    Thanks, Arnar

Just some feedback based on recent usage of the Trip Planner to develop a fairly full on two weeks road trip :)

o The Calendar Days in the main trip planner view should include the day e.g. Mon, Tue, Wed etc. Just displaying Oct 25 is not clear enough ;)
o The Print Itinerary window would be quite useful as a secondary review window if it was dynamically linked, so that as soon as an edit to the itinerary was made, the print preview automatically updated.
o The Print Itinerary also needs days-of-the-week added e.g. Monday, Tuesday
o When adding multiple geocaches, it is a bit cryptic to see just their waypoint name e.g. GC Code in the Hub editor, it would be useful to see the description (cache name) displayed in brackets in the short view

    Cheers Gav

See this thread about the date/time format: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?58110-UK-US-date-format-in-Basecamp-4-2-2
BaseCamp should use your Windows settings for date and time, but it seems the latest version doesn't.
