Basecamp + Zumo 350LM

I have just purchased a new Zumo 350LM. I have registered the device online and downloaded Garmin Express, the maps & Basecamp all nice and easy. Unfortunately when I went to use Basecamp it does not recognise that the Zumo is connected and hence I can't plan my trip. The Unit is charging and displays the connected to PC graphic on the display.
In addition none of the Video Tutorials seem to show the same version of Basecamp that I have downloaded.
Any ideas where I am going wrong please?

Tutorials are a tad behind the Basecamp program, hopefully they'll be updated at some point.

Try connecting the Zumo then wait until it shows in Windows Explorer. On Win7 it seems to take far longer to do so than it ever did on my XP system.

Once it's showing in Explorer launch Basecamp, it should then be 'seen'.
