BaseCamp stops responding during start up splash screen...

There are some posts here from users struggling with running BaseCamp on the Surface Pro. Have you updated to the latest Intel graphics card driver? That seems to fix the issue.

Updating the display driver to the latest IntelHD Graphics driver worked like a charm. Thank You!!!!!!

What I am experiencing is that doing the update allows BaseCamp to open properly about 4 or 5 times and then gets stuck at the splash screen again. If I do the update again it will work for anther 4 or 5 times. I don't know what to do now :-(

Windows 8 needs microsoft.net reinstalled

BaseCamp 4.2.2 stops responding during start up splash screen...

I have searched for anyone else having the same problem and did not find a thread... Does anyone have any recommendation?

I have uninstalled/reinstalled... same problem.

Garmin Express worked but BaseCamp does not.

I get a screen at start up that "Microsoft.net" needs to be uninstalled and then reinstalled, which I have done and did not work. I also uninstalled and reinstalled Basecamp, still get reinstalled Microsoft.net. The was a Flash player update and maybe that cause this error. Need help Garmin
