Birdseye Images not downloading

Hello,

I'm running Basecamp 4.2.2 on Win7 and I have two active Birdseye Imaging subscriptions for my Oregon 650t and 400t. Since this morning I've been trying to download some satellite images of the north of Portugal and Spain and with either subscriptions only the "Download Failed" counter has been incrementing while the "Remaining images" decrements. I've rebooted everything (computer, internet, both Garmins), tried downloading different areas of Portugal and every time the outcome is the same. If I let the process run till the end I get a message that some (in this case all) images hadn't been downloaded and that I could try again.

Any recommendations or explanations?

In my experience this happens from time to time. Garmin's servers get overloaded or are shutdown for maintenance or whatever. When I've tried again later (the same day or days later) the failed downloads come through ok.

Thanks for the feedback STUARTMW.
I've had some times in which the servers timed out and so the download never starts, other times some images don't come through, but never this way in which all images are not downloaded consistently. I'll keep trying along the day.

I've had the same issue here in the northwest(united States). It's been going on since Monday evening and still unable to download any BE images as of now.

Crap... means it probably won't up and working until tomorrow evening. I need the images for Friday morning.

Case closed. Was a temporary thing. All systems normal.
