cannot post pictures

Every time I try and post pictures I get an error message saying I have exceeded the file size.

Even if I resize the pictures to smaller I still get a message saying the file is too large.

I try a 207.4 kb jpg and am told I have "exceeded my quota by 204.6k

I try a 21.0k jpg and am told I exceeded my quota by 18.3k

If I can't upload pictures (screen captures) how can I show others my problem so I can get it solved?

You can use up to 1 MB of attachments on this forum; you can manage them by clicking "Settings" on the top right of this page; then click "Attachments" on the bottom left.
Alternatively, host your images elsewhere, on your own webspace or on one of the image hosting sites.

I ran into the same problem. I can no longer upload pictures or files to help users because of this limit.

If you delete any of the uploads from your list, then the threads that you posted them to will no longer have them included.

I have the same problem right now.
Is there a possibility to change the settings to e.g. 1 MB per message?
