Trip planner

I'm having lots of issues with the "Trip Planner" in BC.

First, I cannot change any parameters after creating a trip. I want to be able to change the maximum driving time per day especially. It stops me 100 miles from my destination over night, don't want that to happen.

Second, it renames my waypoints or deletes them.

What's going on with this? Is it going to be fixed ever? I'm not even mentioning the part about it freezing BC and having to kill with task manager, that's for the next thread. :D

Thank you for your feedback. We are in the process now of addressing many cases with Trip Planner. The design philosophy was to make things as hands off as possible. While we do have a case in to allow changing settings such as driving time and such, keep in mind that these are guidelines that you give to trip planner to follow. All of these things can be edited on the fly. The idea behind the max travel time was to give you the ability to get to a certain point in a given day and then if you don't know the area allow BaseCamp to search for things along your route such as food and lodging accommodations. So for example, if you wish to travel no more then about 15 hours per day (mind you about because you will have to find a place to rest) on a long trip, then it will put you 15 hours out on the highway and now you can search right along that route for your hotel or other such service.

At this time I am not familiar with any renaming of waypoints. can you give me a more specific description or perhaps a screen shot illustrating this problem that you are having? Trip Planner is not supposed to rename search results although you may do that manually.

And to your last point, can you please give me any steps to reproduce your hanging issue? Is this Trip Planner specific? Or is this more of a general BaseCamp issue?
