"Move to" function is required in BaseCamp!

Hello everybody!

I connect the GPS device to the computer and launch BaseCamp. In the context menu of my objects (tracks, waypoints, routes) in the internal storage I see the function "Send to". So I use it to copy the objects to the BaseCamp's library. But then I have to delete them because they are not needed in my GPS. All objects or some of them. So the removal procedure is unnecessary extra work that tires the user, especially when there are many objects in the internal storage. Therefore, in addition to the function "Send to" the function "move to" is very required! :)

Can you not use 'Cut' from the context menu, directly below 'Move to...', and then select destination folder and 'Paste', to achieve the same thing?

Most of the Garmin GPS receivers do not allow you to remove items from the internal memory via external commands. You have to disconnect the device and use the GPS receiver's own commands. I understand that some of the recent units have removed this restriction.
  • All the later handhelds allow this, and the OP has one looking at his screenshot :)
