Basecame 4.2.2 Problems I see...

I upgraded from BC 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 and this is some things I find a problem.

I am using Windows 7 with IE10.

BC does not display the borders of the states, Canada and Mexico. It is hard to tell where I am as I move around. Also you can not see city names, even the larger cities.

Here is a couple of screen shots to show first another software and second BC. The two campgrounds shown one is in Montana and the other in Washington state. This route crosses 3 state lines but shows note.

Also if I select the waypoint in Montana it shows the information but if I select the waypoint in Washington it turns off the one in Montana and shows the one in Washington. It would be nice if I can click on a waypoint to show the title and click on it again to turn off the title.

OK.. I can't upload screen captures that are jpg's that are 189kb and 245kb.

I will upload them if I can figure out how... BTW I have upload photos to the same type of forum that I use all the time.

Check your settings in Basecamp ... Edit, Options, Activity Profiles, Map Display features. Ensure all three boxes are checked.

Thanks for the reply, but my profile settings are good. Still does not show cities, towns and borders...

Also will not allow me to upload graphics. Says I am over my limit, but the Manage attachments shows 13 graphics and no way to remove them. Says anything older than a day or something. it shows 995.7 KB of 1.00 MB Used and I can't change it.

Well without some screenshots I'm not sure what's happening ... BC shows cities etc on mine, I assume you have map detail set to highest?

I see the state and country boundaries, but why won't BC show county or parish boundry lines as an option? Certainly those are available in the databases the developers are using.

I agree - county (parish) border lines should be on the maps along with state border lines.
