Sometimes on a run I find the created track is split into 2 or 3 (or more) parts. This wasn't previously a problem, as in earlier versions of Basecamp I could simply copy and paste to create one complete track. Trying this in BC 4.2.1 and the programme crashes and invites me to send an error report. Anyone else come across this (or a solution?)
To join tracks in BC 4.2.1 (and other): You select your track segment in the left pane > you right click > Advanced > join tracks, Reorder track segment if necessary in the pop-up windows. It works fine.
In my opinion, the "join tracks" capability is (so far) the one and only thing I've found in BC that is superior to MapSource. I use it all the time, even though the newer devices have much better receivers that rarely drop out. It would have been extremely useful with my older devices; when driving in the mountains (trees & lots of direction changes) I might have 15 segments at the end of the day that required stitching together.
