I'll import a gpx-file containing a track, into an existing listmap an subsequent list. what is happening in version 4.2.1, is that Basecamp create a new list (with the same name of the selected list or withe the name of the gpx-file if I select a listmapà directly under "my collection".
I think in older versions, it was not so. Is therefor any reason.

    Thanks for reporting.

We are aware of the issue and will hopefully have a fix shortly.

I am having this same problem. When I indicate what list or folder I want to import into, Basecamp will just create a new list with the original filename in My Collection rather than where I told it to put the data. I am running 4.2.1. I did not have this issue in the past with previous versions.

Originally, I thought the data was not even being imported since the location I asked it to be imported into contained no data. After some fooling around, I found it was acting as described above.

    Thank you for your attention.

I'm running BaseCamp 4.2.2 on Windows 7 (Version 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1 Build 7601) and getting the same issue. GPX imports to the top level collection but not into the list specified. Please indicate when fix will be available.

It's fixed internally already and will roll out with the 4.2.3 maintenance release.
