Hello. I am just getting started with BaseCamp and nothing is going right. First off, the help pages won't open. I click on 'Help' or hit F1 and nothing happens. If I go to help > Garmin forums, nothing happens. I'm trying to make a simple route and no matter what mode of transportation I choose, it just draws a straight line between two points (instead of using the roads for an automobile route, for example). On the forums, I can't get any results using the advanced search. No matter how narrow I make my search, the result is always "Please add more constraints to your search. Searches that return all or most of the database are a bad idea."
I can take a random word, ask it to search since yesterday, do titles only and instead of getting "search term not found" or something similar, I get, "Please add more constraints to your search. Searches that return all or most of the database are a bad idea." This sucks.
Any help?
