My eTrex 20 almost always gives me an accuracy of less than 50 feet between track points, but when I upload a track to Basecamp or Mapsource, the displayed distance is in miles and tenths. A tenth of a mile is 528 feet. Is there any way to get the displayed distance to be at a higher accuracy than tenths of a mile? I've thought about adding the feet between track points myself but some of my tracks have hundreds of track points. Any solutions to this? If tenths of a mile are the default, how would I go about suggesting Garmin change the Base Camp software? Thanks for any help coming my way.
