I am trying to wean myself off MapSource now that I have a new computer. Previously, I used both MapSource and BaseCamp for different purposes. MapSource displayed Points and Start Time columns for tracks and Symbol and Comment columns for Waypoints in the left pane. BaseCamp does not show these by default and I cannot see where there is an option to do this.
Simply swap map and data views so the data is in the right pane, then filter the items so only one of the types of data items is shown, then even more columns are shown than in MapSource, and the items can be sorted by any column by clicking on the column heading.
C14_RIDER Many thanks for your helpful answer: it does the job, certainly. Moving it there, however, then places the Library above the map and this arrangement is not ideal. Nevertheless, swapping and swapping back is no big issue.
