BaseCamp lost all my data !!!!! What now ?

Hi,

I created a list in "My Collection"

Then "Copy" all info from my GPS (tracks, routes, waypoints), and "Paste" in my newly created list...

Everything was duplicated in my new list...

Just to check that it is indeed backed up, I disconnected GPS, closes and then re-opened BasCamp, and all info was available... This was 2 days ago...

Today, my created lists are still there, but they are EMPTY !!!! All data gone :mad::(:confused:

And I already deleted everything from my GPS...

Any way to recover this info ???

I am very sorry to hear that.

Which version of BaseCamp is this? Can you create a backup file and upload this to Dropbox/Skydrive etc. and share a link to it? Then we can check if there's any data left to retrieve.

The sad thing is, that all trip info/data lost, was our 5000 km honeymoon overlanding trip

Hi,

It happened with Ver. 3.3.3

But After I lost everything, yesterday morning, Basecamp also did an auto update which I accepted (maybe I should have waited on this one)... It's now on 4.1.2

The sad thing is, that all trip info/data lost, was our 5000 km honeymoon overlanding trip :(:(
