I’m trying to create a bicycle route on Basecamp using an open source map (Openfietsmap Lite). The map has a few yellow line/roads which Basecamp doesn’t seem to want to use to create routes. How can I get Basecamp to use these roads for routing?

That is not a problem of Basecamp, but a problem of the map. You should choose another map.

I’m assuming that the light yellow lines on the OpenFietsMap maps are roads of lesser importance (still looking for legend) and Basecamp prefers not to use them. I played around with the Basecamp routing options for bicycling activity to no avail. I was finally able to get the routing through these yellow lines by inserting a few intermediate waypoints in my route. Gathering experience! ;) Thanks for all the responses.
