base camp without gps devise connected

Please can somebody help me?

I have recently started to use Base Camp for my Zumo 660. Previously I had used Mapsource for years, without any major problems.

I have updated the maps on my Zumo 660 using Garmin Express, but I also want the latest maps on my computer, either in Base Camp, or Mapsource. I just don't seem to be able to download the maps to my PC. I have been in contact with Garmin support, but nothing useful has come from the conversations. Help, Please

Download and run GarminMapUpdater. On one of the dialogs there's an "Install Options" button at the bottom left. Press that and set the download type to "Install to Computer Only" (you've already updated your Zumo--that is device). That will install the maps on your PC for both MapSource and BaseCamp to use.

PS: I recommend you uninstall Garmin Express and keep a copy of GarminMapUpdater for future map updates.
