For some time now I have been experiencing issues when creating routes in BaseCamp and exporting to my Montana 650T. BaseCamp version is 4.1.2 and Montana 650T (current version) on a Windows 8 platform Version 6.2.9200 Build 9200. I had the same issue when running BaseCamp in Windows XP. I am able to create routes in BaseCamp, including importing routes that I created on the Montana. The problem that I am experiencing is that whenever I create the route in BaseCamp, or edit an imported route created on the Montana, when exporting it back to the Montana becomes totally un-editable. I can see the route on my device, and start navigation, but the route cannot be changed or amended. I use Tyre as my secondary route mapping solution, and I do not experience any issues at all - e.g. routes are properly imported and exported and I can edit/amend in both Tyre and my Montana. I have noticed that the *.gpx file format changes when BaseCamp edits and export back to my Montana. Anyone else experience the same and any ideas how this can be fixed?
