How to select map names language for dual-language maps?

I have a dual-language (Thai and English) Thailand Street Map (CN Thailand 2013.10 NT) map installed on my Garmin Montana. The GPSr is set to English and the map correctly displays in English, however in BaseCamp all the names on the map are in Thai (my computer's and BaseCamp's interface language is set to English). Any ideas on how to make it English?

Leider ist das derzeit nicht moeglich. Entweder englisches Programm mit englischen Namen, oder deutsches Programm mit thailaendischen Namen.

I am afraid that is currently not possible. It'll be either English BC and English names, or German BC and Thai.

I think that if the map is English/Thai, with English as primary, it should always display in English unless used with a Thai BC?
Currently I think the best solution at the moment (until there is a proper bugfix) is to just get an English-only version of this map, which I did. I can't read Thai anyway...

I have a Montana 650 with CN Thailand 2013.3 (Dual) loaded on SD card. The map displays English (and a little Thai).
However, when I load the SD card into my newer Monterra, all I see on the GPS map page is Thai!! No English !!....BUT when I connect to basecamp using the Monterra, the pc map loads in English !!
Bizarre ? Can anyone explain this ? Or suggest how to get English on the Monterra GPS ?
