List folders lost in Backup/Restore to new machine.

I backed up my BaseCamp data on my Win7 PC using BaseCamp 4.1.2. I have all my data sorted into list folders.

Installed BaseCamp 4.1.2 on my new Win8 PC
Copied the backup file to the Win8 PC and restored from the backup file.

The data was restored but all the list folders were lost. The only folder is "My Collection", there are no other folders.

If you still have your old PC just copy the Data folder 4.1 and replace the one in your new PC with that, I use that method to copy my BC database from my desktop to my laptop.

Susssamb,

Thank you for the solution. I have my lost list folders back.

The 4.1 folder was in the hidden folder C:\Users\{user}\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\BaseCamp\ on both win7 and win8.

(Can you move this post to the windows forum where it belongs?)
