When I choose File>Print, I immediately get an error message box stating, "There is an error with the printer configuration. This could be related to running the application with elevated privileges. Please restart the application with lower privileges and try again." I can print from any other application on my machine (e.g. Word or Adobe PDF). I have no idea what the error means, but I can't print, that's for sure. Also, I created a .backup of my work and then on another computer tried to restore the backup (so that perhaps I could print from that machine). Although a message box appears that says "Restore Successful!", I see nothing whatsoever under the My Collection node. So at this point, I can't print and my confidence that I'll be able to print from another machine is shaken too. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'd be interested in seeing that .backup file. Restoring it should definitely work. How big is that file? Make sure the version of BaseCamp on the computer that you are attempting to restore at is the same or higher than the version where you backed up.
You could try to export the data to gpx or gdb and import it on your other computer.

Unfortunately, I wasn't able to resolve this issue. Even uninstalling and reinstalling didn't fix the problem. I ended up having to install Basecamp on another machine. Garmin technical support??
